Sin Truth Dragon

Sin Truth Dragon.

Its big. Its 5000ATK. It takes half your life points to summon when a Sin Dragon is destroyed, and loves to wreck havoc every turn.

Quick trivia: You cannot use My Body as a Shield to stop his effect. Its in the damage step.

Quite obviously, the Sin Dragon of choice would be Sin Stardust Dragon, right? Since he covers the Field Spell being destroyed problem as well.

Fissure/Smashing Ground from the opponent aside, the enemy wont readily blow up Sin Dragons mindlessly, because of this card, especially if its sitting in the graveyard. Not without a Bottomless Trap Hole of some sort.

So, how CAN you summon Sin Truth Dragon easily?

One of the easiest ways of course would be to crash Sin Stardust(or even Sin Red Eyes, since its smaller), into a big monster on the opponents field.

The other way is a bit more tricky, and instead takes advantage of the fact that Sin dragons self destruct when the field spell leaves the field.

But wait! If you destroy your own field spell, the only time for Sin Truth Dragon to pop out would be right after the Sin Dragon self destructs, right before you CAN activate a new field spell, right?

Not quite.

The secret is to activate on top of an old field spell.

This is how it plays out:

1. New field spell is played. Rule Mechanics say the old field spell is destroyed.
2. Because the field spell was destroyed, the Sin Dragon is destroyed.
3. The new field spell is Activated(not quite the same as played, but rather similar)
4. When the field spell resolves, the summoning timing for Sin Truth Dragon is met, and you can summon this Dragon.
(Optional 5th Step: Have Sin Truth Dragon be bottomless trap hole'd)

Another would be for the field spell leaving the field(ie: SET a new one), and chaining Skill Drain to the effect.

One way to take advantage of the latter path would be to Set on top of a Geartown, netting you 8000ATK worth of beatsticks on the field at once.

As for summoning him, the half life points cost is very steep. Also, without having him in the graveyard to start with and hence completely forseeable in plays, you still lose considerable advantage.

Being DARK, its quite easy to send to the graveyard, thanks to cards like Armageddon Knight or Dark Grepher, but that doesnt stop it from using a few cards to send to the graveyard.

Now, half your life points usually is seen as just a cost.

However, you should also consider ways to abuse this fact.

Half your life points almost always drops you below your opponents life count. Perfect for the
activation of Megamorph. Now your 5000ATK beast is a 10000ATK beast.

Also, one of the best ways to destroy your own Sin Dragon to summon Truth is Generation Shift. It gives you another Sin Dragon right away to play with.

Thats all for today.
