Banlist on BF...

I'd like to see how Konami will be hurting BF with the banlist.

Limiting Whirlwind wont do too much damage, as BF functions well without it.

Gale at 1 is already implemented.

What else can they hit?

Thats all for today.

G-Ray Out.

  1. With only one Black Whirlwind, they wouldn't gain advantage so easily. Limiting Icarus Attack somehow would also help to curb Black Feathers' power.

The deck is inherently flawed either way, but Black Whirlwind to 1 and Icarus Attack to 2 or something would probably kill the deck. Well, in the TCG, anyway...

  2. seriously, I don't know how to hurt it by simply limit or semi 1 card. If I were to do it, I'll have to hurt all of them, which may end up helping them building a new game play...

  4. BF is really hard to kill..Cause the monster themselves depend on each other. But you're right, the deck deserves some limiting. It's really too easy to gain advantage and swarm using BFs

  5. They could Hit Sirrocco which would hurt a bit, as it's a great normal summon, pumping helps get over the big monsters, and it would hurt vayu.

Not that makes a lot of sense. I could see Icarus to 2

  6. Here's the order of how much damage restricting the cards would do:
    1. God Bird Attack
    2. Black Whirlwind
    3. Vayu (only if banned)
    4. Sirocco
    5. Armed Wing (only if banned)
    6. Blizzard (only if banned)
    7. Kalut (only if banned)

If you take away Vayu/Sirocco/Armed Wing, you take the ability to summon a beatstick that is truly free (+1), whereas Blizzard is a beatstick but it costs the card itself (+0) as well as a Normal Summon.

Kalut is merely tech that can be replaced by countless cards. The big advantages are that it's searchable and doesn't cost a s/t zone.

  7. I dont think they really need to be killed off as such...

Icarus plays take some skill to do right, and tbh there's nothing terribly imbalanced about them unless they're coming off a Whirlwind play or are putting a floating Vayu in the graveyard. Unless the other fieldbombers in the meta start dissapearing, but I don't think there's anything terribly wrong with any of them apart from DAD/Judgment Dragon.
