Optimal Thinking

Heres a good card: Junk Synchron.

Its a Level 3 Tuner that revives a level 2 monster for an instant synchro summon!

Great! Lets abuse that fact!

Well, you have just fell trap to the "impeded thinking", or thinking that doesnt allow you to see all possible uses of the card.

Also Royal Oppression, but that's another story.

Whilst not being necessarily bad, impeded thinking means exactly that: you're blinded by the shiny coin to realize the chest behind it.

Junk Synchron, has a very good effect. Revive a level 2, and make a level 5. Or, make a level 6 with Treeborn Frog.

Well, thats not all the uses for Junk Synchron.

Being a level 3 Warrior, it has times where it has been searched by Reinforcements and fed to Allure,

or even times where it was used just for reviving a level 2 or under monster, without synchro summoning.

Depending on your life points, you might even consider summoning him, and just using his revived target as an ablative wall to save yourself. Two meatshields are better than one!

A more commonly used tactic is to summon him and revive a tuner, and steal the enemy's monsters to synchro summon twice.

But the point is there: Whilst some cards are mostly used to perform certain things, they can be used for much much more.

Collosal Fighter functions well as a big beatstick that revives itself in battle.

Can you use it in different ways?

How about summoning it, sending it to its death/trade, then steal a warrior from the enemy's graveyard for even more advantage?(Goyou Gaurdian is fun to steal)

Every time you see a card, you should think twice about how you can use its effects to different ends.

Summoning Diva and searching out another one, just to get some fusion material via Fusion Gate for Absolute Zero works really well too.

Judgement Dragoon as Bottomless Trap Hole bait, Plaguespreader for Diamond Dude bait, etc all work really well.

So, every time you see a card, you should be thinking about each individual effect, and how you can use each effect in a different way than most commonly used.

Thats all for today.

New Concept: Junk Monarch

Junk Monarch

Monsters 25
1 Dark Armed Dragon
1 Gorz, the Emissary of Darkness
1 Chaos Sorcerer
2 Cyber Dragon
3 Raiza, the Storm Monarch
1 Light and Darkness Dragon
3 Caius, the Shadow Monarch

2 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
2 Penguin Soldier
2 Skelangel

2 Treeborn Frog
1 Sangan
1 Plaguespreader Zombie
3 Junk Synchron

Spells 10
3 Enemy Controller
2 Pot of Avarice

1 Foolish Burial
1 Brain Control
1 Mind Control
1 Heavy Storm
1 Giant Trunade

Traps 5
3 Malevolent Catastrophe
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Mirror Force

Concept:
Generate tempo advantage utilizing Penguin Soldier, Skelangel, and Ryko.

Using Junk Synchron during the earlier stages of the game can garner advantage in the long run by forcing your opponent to waste precious removal cards on monsters such as Goyou, Magical Android.

Use Cyber Dragon + Junk Synchron or even a long shot 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 for a nice devastating Junk Destroyer.

When you get Treeborn frog going, you can shit into Monarchs, constantly hammering pain onto your opponents using Raiza, Gaius, and Light and Darkness Dragon.

Enemy Controller over book of moon for rather obvious reasons.

And Malevolent Catastrophe at 3. You're reading that right. Its an interesting card choice that will pretty much ensure your opponent Gold Sarcophagus-ing his Starlight Road and bringing in one more from the side.

While it is a very daring card choice, and wont even work against certain decks, its a card that might just garner you game. And will rip to shreds anyone whose skill isnt up to standard.

Activate it off 1:1 trades and 1:5 trades. Either way, its extremely jarring to Tempo.

And once you have the tempo advantage, theres not much that can stand up to Monarchs or Junk Synchron/Debris Dragon spam.

Especially now that you run both.

Thats all for today.

Synchron Explorer

I think that the fact that this card can make:

Natural Beast

Nitro Warrior(Hes 2800 for those who dont realize)

Junk Archer

Goyou Gaurdian/Brionac

While still allowing Junk Synchron abuse(both ways), makes this really strong in a devoted deck.

Did I mention Dandylion and he makes Road Synchron? Summon Cyber Valley and draw 2 with other token
