Duel Puzzle #16

SEE BELOW FOR UPDATES/HINTS

Opponent:
Field: Five Headed Dragon face up ATK, Five Headed Dragon face up ATK, Face Up Ground Collapse
Hand: Machine Emperor Wizel Infinity, Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
Deck: 11(top card Burial From a Different Dimension)
Life: 5300
Graveyard contains no monsters.

You:
Hand: Foolish Burial, Junk Synchron, Mind Control, One for One
Field: Facedown Limit Reverse
Deck: 5(Top Card: Monster Reborn, Bottom Card: Chaos Sorcerer)

Graveyard: Pot of Avarice, Pot of Avarice, Pot of Avarice, Dark Hole, Burial From a Different Dimension, Different Dimension Revival, Different Dimension Revival, Different Dimension Revival,
RFP: Sangan, Trishula, Brionac, BF - Gale, Mezuki, Plaguespreader Zombie, Dark Armed Dragon, Chaos Sorcerer, Dandylion, Dandylion, Formula Synchron, Formula Synchron, Formula Synchron, Lonefire Blossom, Lonefire Blossom, Debris Dragon, Debris Dragon, Debris Dragon,
Extra Deck: 10
Life: 1200

It is currently the Standby Phase of your turn.
Deal precisely 5300 Damage to the opponent this turn.
Alternatively, reduce the opponent's deck to 0 Cards
The RFP and Graveyard gives you a hint as to what cards CANNOT be used.
Yes, this means you CANNOT abuse Formula Synchron to draw up your deck(boo hoo. Cry more.)
If you draw, the first card will be Monster Reborn, and the last card in your deck will be Chaos Sorcerer.
Unless, of course, you decide to shuffle your deck via Foolish burial. But who would do that?
For the most part, cards in the RFP zone cannot be summoned back.
The solution will not depend on luck.

Good luck! Think hard!

EDIT:
First and foremost, I realized an error I did in calculations. YOUR Life has been changed from 2400 to 1200.

To make things significantly simpler, 1 Five Headed Dragon on the opponent's field has been dropped. Not sure why you couldnt get rid of it anyhows. You have resources to get rid of all 3 AND Wizel AND Gorz.
Anyhows, if you can figure out how to kill the opponent, try with 3.

DO NOT FORGET that Gorz can be dropped in response to a burn... to burn you back(and hence kill you on your turn)
That means that Infernity Death Dragon to burn Wizel is one of the things that will not happen... OR IS IT?

Just to clarify, yes, in response to Infernity Death Dragon burning the last card on the field, you CAN drop BOTH Wizel and Gorz. They will form a chain to be special summoned. Then Gorz will try to kill you via burn.

To Clarify:
NO You CANNOT be reduced below 0LP or draw after having 0 cards in the deck. It would be really wonderful to win, but you really need to learn how to win BEFORE losing. So, if you lose before you win... its not valid.

The remaining 3 cards of the deck can be anything you want(so long as its legal and it isnt in the RFP zone already).
Similarly, the 10 cards in your extra deck can be anything legal you want.

If you shuffle the deck, the order of cards will be changed. However, if you draw something, you must either ensure you draw/mill a certain card before you can claim to have it.
EG: If I burial a level 3 monster, limit reverse it, and then synchro out brionac, somehow generate a draw 1 card, I will have 1 more card in the hand to discard, BUT I cannot use the card, because its not 100% that I drew... lets say Monster Reborn. I can "discard card I drew"

Yes, Ground collapse has been used on two of YOUR zones.

Your opponent is not stupid. He will negate a Mind Control on Wizel.
Your opponent is also not retarded. He will not negate a Mind Control on Wizel if you have 3 monsters on the field, and Ground collapse is still alive.

IF your deck is at 0 Cards, and you Synchro summon with a Librarian on the field, you will lose.

In your solution, please state the 3 other cards in the deck, if you are calling upon all of them.

DO Look up FGD's effect. It will not die to massively powered up Gigantech Fighter

If you mill 12 cards off the opponent's deck, even if you are at 200 life and 0 cards in the deck, you will win(because the opponent will lose at the start of the next turn)

HINT:
Most cards you play you only play for a certain number of its effects. Try looking at ALL of them.

Use the effects you cared existed.
(Like Ancient Fairy being able to special summon cards from your hand)
(Yes it has a stupid special summon effect >.>)
On a completely unrelated note, Ancient Fairy Dragon is LIGHT. You know, for those who didnt know it exists.

And there is ONLY ONE incredibly amazing omg wtf move that I'm trying to make people see. After that, the rest is rather simple and straightforward.

Keep in mind that you ideally should be able to get rid of 3 Five Headed Dragons, not just 2...

  2. Rauzes-sama~~
Can i shuffle the 5 cards in the deck and assume i got some weird cards in the deck (Lightlord Wulf)?

  3. This is so difficult. I am lost.

  4. What's in the extra deck?

  5. If you shuffle the deck, you cannot assume what your drawed card is.
However, you can draw the card, and say... discard it for cost of Brionac.
The solution will not bank on chance or "draw XX" or "Mill XXX"

DO Keep in mind that if you clear the field and burn the opponent for X damage, they can drop gorz and burn you back.

  6. Hi,

I am new here.Since the clue wasn't given in full, I will have to assume some monsters in the deck which I most of the time use. So, please excuse me if I try out this solution.

Ok, I assume that in the deck there is a copy cat and the extra deck has Level 4 Armory Arm.

Step 1 : Use foolish burial for Copycat.

Step 2 : Use Limit Reverse for Copycat & copy.

Step 3 : Summon Junk Synchro & tune it with Copycat to synchro Level 4 Armory Arm.

Step 4 : Use Monster Reborn to call backn Copycat and copy one of the Five Headed Dragon for it attack.

Step 5 : Equip Level 4 Armory Arm to Copycat.

Step 6 : Attack one of the Five Headed Dragon (face-up attack position).

Results : The opponent receives the damage of 1000 because Copycat's attack was increased but 1000 by Level 4 Armory Arm. When Five Headed Dragon was destroyed in battle (Because Copycat is light attribute), by the effect of Armory Arm, the opponent will received damaged effect by its original attack of 4000.

    Hence, the total damage is 1000 + 5000 = 6000.

    Opponent LP has reached 0.

    Is it ok?

  7. It is currently the Standby Phase of your turn.
Deal precisely 5300 Damage to the opponent this turn.
Alternatively, reduce the opponent's deck to 0 Cards

    Lines #1 and #2.
You never drew Monster Reborn, and you did 700 damage more than what you were supposed to(IE: Not seeing what youre supposed to see)

  8. I don't really know how to deal exactly 5300 damage but i know one way to finish the opponent.

Step 1: Use foolish burial to send 'The Calculator' to graveyard and summon Junk Synchron and sp summon Calculator. Synchro summon Junk Warrior.

    Step 2: Mind Control a FGD and use limit reverse to bring back calculator. Calculator's attack is now (12 + 5 + 2) x 300 = 5700. Junk Warrior's attack is 2300 + 5700 = 8000.

Step 3: Attack FGD with calculator and it will be destroyed because Calculator is LIGHT. And direct attack with Junk Warrior for game.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Doesnt work. Junk Warriors attack bonus is only when its summoned. Not continuous.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Foolish Burial sends The Calculator to the graveyard, activate Mind Control and target FGD, Summon Junk synchron, revive The Calculator, Synchro Summon Junk Warrior, chain Limit Reverse to Junk Warrior's effect, revive The Calculator and Junk Warrior gains 5700 atk so now your field is Junk Warrior (8000 atk), The Calculator (5700 atk), and FGD. Then Calculator atk FGD and Junk Warrior atk directly.

  11. Now i m lost.
whether to foolish for magicat or to foolish for cross porter.
both acts as a lvl2 target for junk synchron.
but magicat allows me to return the burial that is good, whereas the cross porter allows me to search for glow moss, which can be used for one for one and for spore if i m gonna 1 for 1 it.

  12. Hi,

It’s me again. Thanks, Rauzes, for pointing out my mistakes. I forgot that Standby Phase is after Draw Phase. I was sleepy at that time. :P

Anyway, I still would like to give it a go with this combo although I will not be getting it exactly 5300 LP damage. I have made some small correction.

Again, I assume that in the deck there is a copy cat and the extra deck has Level 4 Armory Arm.

Step 1 : Use foolish burial for Copycat.

Step 2 : Summon Junk Synchro, and by Junk Synchro effect, special summon for Copycat in defends position. Tune Junk Synchro with Copycat to synchro Level 4 Armory Arm.

Step 3 : Use Limit Reverse for Copycat and copy one of the Five Headed Dragon for it’s attack.

Step 4 : Equip Level 4 Armory Arm to Copycat.

Step 5 : Attack one of the Five Headed Dragon (face-up attack position).

Is it better now? Although not exactly 5300 damage but it does helps to win on that turn.

  13. I think I have it. Three other cards in deck:

    Cyber Valley
    Cross Porter
    Neo-Spacian Grand Mole

Foolish Burial Cross Porter, search Neo-Spacian Grand Mole. One for One, discarding Grand Mole to Special Summon Cyber Valley. Mind Control a Five-Headed Dragon and remove it with Cyber Valley to draw the last two cards in the deck (Monster Reborn and Chaos Sorcerer).

Summon Junk Synchron, revive Cross Porter. Synchro Summon Magical Android. Monster Reborn Junk Synchron. Synchro Summon Infernity Doom Dragon. Remove Magical Android and Junk Synchron from the Graveyard to Special Summon Chaos Sorcerer. Limit Reverse Grand Mole.

Have Grand Mole attack and bounce the second Five-Headed Dragon. Infernity Doom Dragon and Chaos Sorcerer can attack for game. The Ground Collapse actually helped in preventing the opponent from dropping Gorz.

I'm interested in seeing how you would be able to get rid of three Five-Headed Dragons, Wizel, and Gorz while still pulling off the 5300 damage. Is it significant that the opponent's next draw was Burial from a Different Dimension?

    ReplyDelete
  14. ^ the thing w/ magicat is that it's effect returns a spell to the TOP OF THE DECK, not your hand (unfortunately)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hmm interesting. It does deal 5300 damage flat, so I guess the winner is you, but its not QUITE what I was trying to make people see(close though)

Actually, in earlier drafts, I had the opponent also holding a Tragoedia... but decided it was too limiting...

Ground Collapse was initially on your own field... with a Gaurd Counter on it.
But it wasnt too logical to knock out two of your OWN zones...

You figured out how to get the 2 cards you wanted, which is good. The solution does use this as the way to grab Monster Reborn and Chaos Sorcerer.

No its not significant the opponents next draw was Burial, but when I encountered this same situation in which I pulled of combo-that-is-solution, the next draw of the opponent was burial.

And yes, most of the duel puzzles were made because I had seen/been on the dishing out end/been on the receiving end of said combo...
(and the cards on field/hand/grave/etc changed up a bit to eliminate easier but less spectacular solutions. Also LP changed up a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Also you are totally out of resources to get rid of the 3rd FGD... but who cares. Winner is you.

    ReplyDelete
  17. you cannot limit rebirth on calculator since its attack is predetermined.

    ReplyDelete
  18. the burial from dd should have something to do with 1 glowmoss in your deck maybe?

  19. sorry forget what i said didnt read the not sugnificant part

  20. So.. Is that the amazing OMGWTF move that we are suppose to see?
