ATK Lines
Some monsters have good effects, and others so so effects.
ALL monsters have ATK points.
The problem with some monsters with awesome effects is the meta.
Not just that the effect doesnt work well, but...
It.
Just.
Isnt.
Big.
Enough.
Today we will be discussing "Attack lines", a concept used in Card Choice and Monster Lineup Balance in deckbuilding.
Attack lines are defining ATK and DEF lines created by the meta, and more specifically, the monsters youre going to be fighting most often.(For example: Blackwing - Armor Master doesn't define a 2500 ATK line because nobody's going to be fighting it, just drop a smashing ground.)
Some cards make enough an impact on the meta that they define a line by themselves. Most dont.
1000 ATK: Limit Reverse Line, Trap Hole Line, and most importantly, can kill a Defence Monarch line.
1400 ATK: Recruiter's ATK line. Also, monsters above this line can kill all gadgets in battle.
1500 ATK: Searchable by Recruiters and Sangan. On the other side of this line is Bottomless Trap Hole and Messenger of Peace
1800 ATK: Merit Attacker line. Airman, Machiner Gearframe, and Shura make this a very important line to consider when making your opening play.
1900 ATK: Beatstick Line. Raiou, Alius, Crusader, Evocator, Doomcaliber Knight, Sandman, Gaurdian... Just about every other problematic beatstick you can think of. Most of the time, you cant beat this line without more than 1 card in battle(Tribute summon counts as 2, I guess).
Thus, if you dont have any monsters above this line, pack more removal.(This is where the thinking and logic from ATK lines comes in practical play)
2100 ATK: The best/only example of a 1 card defined ATK Line. Because Cyber Dragon was so versatile, it alone defined this ATK line for just about all the time in existence. One of the most important crossroads in ATK lines, especially since its back at 2 now.
If you intent to be controlling the field with a 2000 ATK thing only, dont expect to be for long.
2300 ATK: A much lesser line, but it marks the weaker high class monsters line. Brionac, Chaos Sorcerer. Most of the time not important.
What is much more imporant is
2400 ATK: Monarchs, Jinzo, and Gyzarus are the most prominent this format. Being above this line means you can get over them.
2700 ATK: The Gorz line. Similar to the Cyber Dragon Line. Only this line lets you end the game with 3 direct attacks.
2800 ATK: Goyou Gaurdian, Dark Armed Dragon, and Tytanial line. Big monsters that pop out of nowhere(and sometimes together) and wreck destruction. Made even more important with Goyou stealing monsters.
3000 ATK: BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON, Judgement Dragoon, and Barbaros ATK lines. Little importance this format. Just drop a Smashing Ground... If youre alive.

Teching reasoning to try to net a free monster is a rather risky but interesting card choice.
Especially in Machiners.
Most people either declare 8 or 4, so Machiners Fortress comes out easily under these.

Combo with Vengeful Shinobi.
Scrap Iron Scarecrow alone functions well to defeat several problems such as Gladial Beast, and Black Feathers.

First off, the deck is a removal beatdown type deck.

The main way to gain an upper hand on the opponent or advantage in general lies in the free-chaining of removal cards.

Through the use of Double Cyclone with just about every card in the deck, the loss of advantage can be supplanted and even used.

Although it may seem like the deck lacks monsters, Hero Blast assures you that Neos Alius will be seeing the field many times.

Miracle Synchro Fusion
With its current text and without an errata or ruling change the second it comes out, its a bit better than you people think...
Current wording: This card can Miracle Fusion out anything, as long as (at least) one of the fusion materials are a Synchro Monster.
Hence: if a Synchro monster had the text: "You can substitute this card for any 1 Fusion-Material Monster. When you do this, the other Fusion-Material Monster(s) must be the correct one(s)", you can use Miracle Synchro Fusion to fusion summon something out (as long as the other card is the correct material)

Its a 3500 Beater.
It can attack all the monsters on your opponents field.
The only problem is that it needs to be special summoned by a specific magic card, which requires a Level 8 or higher monster to be destroyed.
If only there were big level 8 or more monsters that would self destruct when you needed them to...
"If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card."

Play Ante Match.

Surging Knight Dragoequites Post 2
You can use it to copy Saviour Star Dragon's effect.
To copy an opponents monsters effect!
Just a long shot but keep it in mind, because most decks that can summon Saviour Star Dragon will have some sort of Warrior, if not in the Extra deck.
Just keep in mind that unlike Phantom of Chaos, Surging Knight can return to the extra deck, and will do so in the end phase.

Everyone's favorite headdesking post is back!
As you know, All of You Are Idiots is a post corresponding to a duel puzzle in which I reveal the solution, which almost all of you didnt get.
And when you realize how great the idea is/how simple it is, you get to headdesk a bit, asking yourself "why didn't I see that???"

Trigger One For One, Discarding Dandylion to summon Majestic Dragon/Savior Dragon

Dimension Fusion
By cutting the bane of Elemental Hero Fusion decks, the sheer amount of card advantage lost, to a zero through re-using of Airman and using Fusion Gate instead of Polymerization, this type of Elemental Hero Beatdown might be the only future Hero decks have.
And it again displays the amazingness of D.D.R. and Arms Hole.
On a side note, Fusion Neos is quite interesting.

Be in at least 30 Matches
Count the win rate for MATCHES not GAMES for said 30+ Matches. Your overall points, which counted each game, is no longer used to determine your invitation.
Which kinda means that all but one of our team member wont be playing for nationals this year.
Yep. Even if I do hold a top 200 Japanese players ranking, without playing 30 Matches +, etc etc, I cant enter Nationals.
Depending on the win rate, if you have one of the top 150(Less than 1/4 of last year) in the country, you can either join Kanto or Kansai national representative qualifiers.(What happened to the other 2 Areas!?)
Top 4 Japanese players will represent Japan in Los Angeles Yugioh World Championships.
Well, should I try?
Should I go all out and get my National's invite, and use something stupid there?(Neos Beat?)
Or go all the way to Worlds? Then run something shitty like Ojamas or Junk and Debris?
